What to Think?

Not much movement this morning. Not sure why. Pres. Obama speaks in about 30 mins. Maybe that's holding the markets steady.

FOMC Wednesday

I'll be trading cautiously this morning then finding something better to do with my time this afternoon. The FOMC statement comes out at 2pm est and that will usually make the market move.

Is it Monday still? No, its Tuesday.

Its an hour and 15 mins before markets open and the charts look eerily similar to Monday morning. Down over 14 pts on the S&P E-mini and very much sideways movement the past 4 hours or so. Wonder if this means we'll see the nice trends we had yesterday?

Monday Morning Blues

Its almost 8:00am ct here in Dallas. Its raining, the S&P 500 E-mini is down over 16 pts from Friday's close, and the charts are very ugly - nothing but sideways. Looks like the swine flu has people concerned. We'll see how the day plays out.
